Queenston Heights is located on the Niagara Escarpment above the village of Queenston, Ontario. It is presently a park consisting of two picnic pavilions, washrooms, children’s wading pool and playground, tennis courts, a bandshell, snack bar and fine dining at Queenston Heights Restaurant.
There are two monuments located in Queenston Heights to pay tribute to Sir Isaac Brock and Laura Secord who were heroes of the war of 1812 between the United States and Britain. One of the most important battles on Canadian ground was the battle for Queenston Heights. The British troops maintained control of Queenston Heights however Sir Isaac Brock lost his life during the battle.
Queenston Heights has become a popular site for families, nature lovers and historians.
