Coyotes Run Estate WineryCoyote’s Run Estate Winery is passionate about good wine and they are proud of their VQA certified wine. The Vintners Quality Alliance (VQA) ensures that the wine produced is of the finest quality wines in Ontario. Coyote’s Run Estate Winery, a 58-acre vineyard, opened in May 2004. The Murdza family ran the vineyard for over 30 years before that and sold their premium grapes to some of the larger wineries in the region.
The wines are made in small batches to ensure top quality, which means that these wines can be difficult to find and can sell out quickly. Now Coyote’s Run uses screw caps to prevent wine from being ruined by cork taint or bad seals. Coyote’s Run produces a large variety of wine including Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Vidal and Pinot Gris.
Coyote’s Run Estate Winery differs from other properties with its unique terroir, its soil and microclimate provides a complex and elegant wine. Coyote’s Run teamed up with Bob Izumi, the Great Outdoorsman, host of the Real Fishing television and radio shows to produce Bob Izumi Wines. Many may not realize that Bob Izumi is also an accomplished cook who enjoys pairing food with the perfect wine. This line of red and white wines has been created from Bob Izumi’s passion for great food and wine.
