| Niagara is home to over 30 golf courses. For the professional, enthusiast or beginner our courses accommodate all levels of skills while providing breathtaking scenery. The following are just a few of our first rate courses.
Legends on the Niagara: Golfers Guide Spring Edition 2002 is quoted as saying that Legends is "perhaps the single most incredible golf experience in North America". The course features 45 holes on 700 acres along the Niagara River. The course consists of two championship 18-hole courses: Usher's Creek and Battlefield. In addition the course also features a 9-hole short course. Legends is owned and operated by The Niagara Parks Commission and is complete with a 360-degree driving range, putting course and academy. This facility is adjacent to a War of 1812 battlefield, where the Battle of Chippawa was fought on July 5, 1814.
Thundering Waters: Thundering Waters is John Daly’s first “Signature” golf course in Canada. Featuring Daly’s “high risk-reward” style, the course has been designed to enhance the excitement of the game for all players. Daly will open the course by attempting to drive a ball across the Falls.
Grand Niagara: Designed by one of the top architects in the golfing industry Grand Niagara is considered a masterpiece. The gorgeous 320 acre site along the Welland River is said to embody designer Rees Jones’ philosophy of variety and playability.
Whirlpool Golf Course: The Whirlpool Golf Club borders the whirlpools on the Niagara River and is considered an exceptional value for its challenging layout.
The course is renowned for aesthetic beauty as it is run by the Niagara Parks Commission.
